God Made Me: Final Lesson

This week we finished up our “God Made Me” lesson in Chapel. While I only blogged about 4 weeks of teaching, we have been studying “God Made Me” for 8 weeks now. We learned about our our wonderful eyes, ears, mouth, hands, feet, and heart. Today we learned about the very first man and woman that God made from the dirt of the ground – Adam & Eve. The children were very attentive when we talked about how Adam & Eve hid from God after breaking his rule. Their precious eyes and mouths were WIDE OPEN, so curious to learn if God would punish them for their disobedience. Yes, God punished Adam & Eve. They could no longer stay in the Garden of Eden with God enjoying fellowship with Him and the abundance of the land. But, the story does not end there. The good news of Jesus Christ provides the way for us to once again enjoy God’s fellowship, be in His presence, and live in abundance. Your children were so cute shouting out “thanks be to God!”

They will bring home “A Book about Me” this week. We’ve worked on it over the course of the past 8 weeks in Chapel. I hope you will take some time to let them “read” it to you! Delight in your child today! For they are surely “wonderfully made!”
