Closure Due to Hurricane Matthew

Dear Parents,

In her press conference this afternoon, Governor Nikki Haley ordered all schools south of Marlboro County and east of Aiken County to close their schools for the rest of the week, due to effects of and potential landfall of Hurricane Matthew. This includes both Charleston County School Districts and Berkeley County School Districts.

As such, both campuses of our Holy Cross Island Schools will be closed for the rest of the week (October 5-7).

Please stay safe and join me in praying that our Lord, who has the power to calm the wind and waves (Mark 4:35-41), will command Hurricane Matthew to be still!

In Him,
Sue Cuthbert
Director, Holy Cross Island School

Inclement Weather, Friday 9/2

Dear Parents,

We have officially heard from both Charleston and Berkeley County School Districts, and school will be closed tomorrow due to the predicted forecast and conditions of Tropical Storm Hermine. Therefore, HIS School will be closed on both campuses tomorrow Friday, September 2, 2016.

Both districts have announced make-up days, which we will observe:

BCSD Make-up day is Monday, October 17th (Holy Cross Daniel Island will observe this make-up day).

CCSD Make-up day is Friday, October 21st (Holy Cross Sullivan’s Island will observe this make-up day).

Blessings,

Sue Cuthbert & Marlo Greene
